Chapter 5

Seven was fitted as promised, with the finest of artificial legs. The stump that was now all that remained of his right leg was still healing and the attachment of the prosthetic created intense pain and soreness. It felt as if his leg was being ripped from his body all over again every time it was attached. The constant pain only highlighted his despair and depression. He missed the Colonel, he missed Al, he missed his life.
